With the current world events, I see that the mind has even more tendencies of running to the past and future, particularly with states of fear and uncertainty. This can be very unsteadying, and then, gratefully and as often as possible, I can come to see this. When I do, the tool of coming to an activity of the body, knowing there even IS a body, brings me from the Nowhere of past and future to the Somewhere of this moment. This process of bringing the mind to connect with what is happening with the body gives my busy mind a job to do, which brings a quieting to the traffic of thoughts and an essential experience that is present, settling and empowering, in what may otherwise feel like a chaotic existence. I see that I come to know there is a body which is actually always available, and in the experience of breathing or a movement, or knowing the body has weight on the ground, I find the simplicity of gratitude. Gratitude that the current events actually helped me remember to come to bodymind connection, gratitude that I have a practice that is always available, gratitude to be with my self and in that being, an experience of true connection to source and all life. It is truly a selfless practice, though from the outside looking in, this may sound like my focus is self-absorbed. When I come to knowing there is a body, I uncover energy that was previously being drained with dwelling on past events or conjuring about future possibilities. In this moment, I can breathe with clarity in order that I may do what needs to be done, or undone, for more essential wellness and wholeness. And here in the bodymind connection of now, there is a drop in the bucket of life that I see contributes calm and ease, with acceptance even of the chaotic states of the mind, even in registering the activity of the body in one inhalation and exhalation. For even the brief moments, gratitude for knowing there is a body, to come from nowhere to somewhere, nourishes vital existence.

Bringing all your associations about someone to your relationship with them, you dilute the relationship. To avoid that, you have to first come to the relationship to yourself. Become present, and then relate to the other person.
This way, you don't try to fix the problems in your relationship to them. You fix those problems in yourself, by being present. The reality of the other person exists within yourself. When you are present, you see you have nothing against them. Your effort to become present is your highest gift to the Earth. The whole universe is supported by it, because everything is interrelated and interconnected. ~Jon Schreiber, "Child of Existence, Child of Society", teachings of Breema If you could see where your real wishes come from, you would understand that you already have what you wish for. Those wishes are the emanation of your Being, You already ARE and then there is a wish. If you truly wish to understand, understanding is already there. Your direction is to bring it to the physical dimenstion--to your mind, body, and feelings--to do what is needed in order for that understanding to manifest in your life. The real already exists. The oak trees already exists within the acorn. But you have to give it the right conditions, by planting it in the soil, watering it, making sure it gets sunlight. Then it can sprout and grow into a mighty tree. You are just like that tree. You existed before your body formed. But because we relate only to the apparent, to the manifested, we take ourselves to be separate. We don't know our unity with the Absolute. If you had everything, what would you wish for? In unity with the Source, your essential wish is already fulfilled. One thing is undeniable--the fact that you exist. But even if you know it, you remember it only for a moment here, a moment there. In between those moments, you still exist. Where you're lost in thoughts, you exist, but your thoughts don't let you see that. It's as though you're looking at the back of a mirror, and can't see yourself. Now let's say you turn the mirror the other way, so you can see your reflection. And you ask a question. YOU are asking, not your image, not your reflection. YOU are manifesting, not the manifestation you identify with as you. What can you do to be more connected to the truth? The answer--don't forget the body. Bringing your mind to your body brings you from the passive state to the active state. When you move your arm, and you KNOW it is moving, body and mind are connected. Then your desires are different. Your questions are different. You are more connected to your real wish. And from the active state you have a chance to come to the receptive state--body, mind, and feelings are together. That is the direction for your entire life. ~Jon Schreiber, "Child of Existence, Child of Society", teachings of Breema and living a harmonious life. As a healer/bodyworker, my work generally has the focus of the body's health via inviting vital energy to flow through the meridian lines and their correlations to the muscles, organs and emotional body. Below are charts to give you a visual understanding of the meridians and their locations. Each organ system has a related emotional energy which is used as a diagnostic tool for me as your practitioner. Stay tuned for a download blog: Emotions and the Organ Systems.
As your practitioner, I'm always willing and excited to go over any questions that crop up regarding these charts, and Meridian Therapy in general. Please feel welcome to comment here for questions and clarification. |
